Involvement in research is an important educational opportunity for our residents. The concepts of study design and data analysis gives one a better critical understanding of the current literature. We have found that involvement in research makes for better evidence-based clinicians and competitive fellowship candidates.

The Research Institute at St Luke’s University Health Network was founded to help residents and faculty with all of their research needs. They have a full time biostatistician to help with complex data analysis and presentation.

Over the years our mentoring physicians from REI, MFM, and Urogynecology have helped our residents with many different types of research projects. Listed below are recent national presentations and publications from our residents:
