James Feldman, LCSW, PhD
Assistant Director for Behavioral Sciences
Dr. Feldman completed his undergraduate studies in sociology at Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, Greenvale, New York. He completed his master's degree at Fordham University and received post graduate training at The University of Pennsylvania and The New York Center for Psychoanalytic Training. Dr. Feldman received his PhD from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in Human Development, Human Services and Child Maltreatment.
Dr. Feldman has traveled extensively both nationally and internationally presenting clinical training models and research findings in the area of primary and secondary prevention in Behavioral Health. He has also published and contributed to several books and articles, and has been called upon frequently by major media outlets as an expert in behavioral health issues in contemporary life.
Dr. Feldman has consulted with the governments of Israel and Canada on child and adolescent healthcare and youth violence, serving as a past board member of the International Committee on Youth Violence. Dr. Feldman is also a Certified Mental Health First Responder for the State of New Jersey.
