Residents perform specialty and inpatient rotations at St. Luke’s University Hospital in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a 454-bed, full-service, acute-care hospital, which serves a population of more than 600,000. Outpatient, longitudinal care is provided at St. Luke’s Family Medicine Center, approximately ten minutes away from the hospital. This 13,000 square foot facility is spacious and includes 14 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, as well as a conference room and resident office space. The family medicine residency uses the Allscripts electronic health record in the Family Medicine Center and EPIC electronic health record in the hospital. The medical library has a 21-station computer laboratory, research and small group study rooms and 24-hour access to residents.
